I am not not having any major hopium whatsoever, but having CEC moved to Edmonton and Ottawa issuing PPR like crazy in the same day, its just hard not to have a smile in my face today.
For sure for sure. Don't let me change your mood haha. I have just learned that it's a bad idea to trust Canada/IRCC with anything. I'll go along with whatever happens.
I don't consider myself an optimistic person, frankly I am the direct opposite but hey dude be happy for others! They have been waiting for such a long time. Time will come for pre-ITA people as well. Just live your life, learn, proceed with your career.
Someone tagged me specifically and I responded to that. This has nothing to do with being happy for others or whatever. My being happy or sad doesn't affect processing, and I don't consider it a zero sum game. I don't see others getting PPRs as a detriment to me getting an ITA. Good for those getting their PPRs, whether they are CEC or FSW.
"They have been waiting for such a long time." Yeah who the fuck hasn't? I've been in this process since 2019 too.
It means someone initiated your security check by putting an "E-Docs" with CBSA/CSIS. They never updated the actual GCMS notes.... Typical sloppiness of IRCC.

I now personally feel Canadian immigration is like a bootcamp to adjust to Canadian "system". Its so pathetic that it tempers your expectation about anything to come afterwards. Anyways, great to see movement in files of those who have been waiting for so long.

Most processing appears to be focused on 2019 and early 2020 applications, but I’ve seen September and October 2020 posts too. But I have my bets on everything being random. PPRs are released in batches apparently but no one knows how those batches are divided. All guesses are welcome.
