I have a question regarding my daughter's PR renewal application
We got PR in April 2016 and her PR renewal eligibility is from January 4 , 2017 - January 4, 2022.
We all did short landing and my daughter and wife went back after 3 months i.e in August 2016.
My daughter came back to Canada in 2018 October and since then is in Canada. She was staying in India from 2017 until 2018 Oct . So in the renewal form what should I mention as the reason for her absence from Canada.
Any advise ?

For my daughter, I had mentioned "Stay at Home / Schooling" in the reason when she was not attending daycare, we were in the US at that time. Her PR renewal card was approved without any issues.

Also, I have to apply for renewal for my wife and she was also back home until 2019 and I have to give a reason for her absence as well

The reason was because my wife was in India as she went back after doing a short landing. So my children were staying with her

Ok, thank you and what do you suggest that I should mention in my wife's renewal application as she was back home and was not interested to come here. She was staying there with children and my aged dad. However she had to come because then my children came here later. What do you think should be the reason for her absence that I should mention

You're going to have to just figure out yourself. Caring for father. Schooling for the children might make sense. Up to you.
