We have seen applications answered between 6 and 12 months. But it can take less or much more. It depends on your office, official and history. Good luck!

I am bothered by your mean words to the officers, not all the time that if it appears “In Process” in your ecas doesnt mean they already reviewing your eligibility, remember it is a system and sometime system has a glitch it is not perfect unless they write you a letter saying “We already started reviewing your eligibility” are you ?
i heard if you get long IN PROCESS you'll get positive assessment
I guess how he/she feels shouldn't be your problem, you don't know what he/she is going through. You are sympathetic to the officers because, you are being grateful for helping your situation. Think about how it will feel if you have waited so long , having been refused once or twice, I dont think you will be so nice when you talk about them. You should just thank your stars that you own went fast due to the recommendation you got, but just don't judge others how they express their feelings. The way the system is run is below standard. They feel it's a privilege, that's why they don't prioritize those applications. Like some of us who waited for years to reunite with our families, am sure you won't be that nice when you talk about them . So let @ wello711 be, its just an expression of feelings.

Hello all,
I’m a new member here, just signed up.
First, wish you all a Happy new year.
I have H&C application in process since Sep. 2021.
From your experience, is it true that a negative decision normally is quicker than positive once.
Please share your thoughts/ experience.
Thanks. Izzat
Hi! Mine is also in process since September 2021. From what I have seen this year, normally the negative response comes in the first 2 months once the application change to “ in process”. But this is not a rule. In the past some got negative response after years. So, we can’t really know. I hope we get positive results soon!
As I said, it is not a rule. I know a few cases that got rejected in the first 2 months and another few that got positive results after waiting in process for 3 to 6 months. But we can’t really put schedule time for it. Just saying what I noticed.
