I have a closed work permit expired
My wife applied to study and I applied for an OWP. Currently we are on implied status
I applied for h&c last week. I want to know if I will be able to apply for an OWP thru h&c and when.

You have to wait until you have first stage approval for H&C before you can qualify for an OWP.

If you only applied for H&C last week, then you still have a number of months to wait before you can expect first stage approval.

Guys i applied for my gcms notes in french so i could't find good explantations on google because all informations are basically in english.
I just want to know what do you have in the first page in your gcms ( for first stage ) next to the sentence: the state of the application-reason? it's the ninth line on the first page

Hi @wello711 it has been a while since we ordered GCMS but last time line 9 said TFR - transfer workload redistribution (meaning it was transferred from Vancouver (secondary office) to Montreal (now primary office) due to lack of officers in Vancouver).

If you send in by paper you won’t be able to do it till you get your log in from immigration and that’s when you are approved
