Yes but they will accept both files together so CGI will know about your surrender application as well... it works the same they used to work for surrender and OCI...

Could you let me know if you did ( surrender and OCI together) what date? As i have my appointment at BLS Toronto on Dec 31st if they accept would like to submit both applications.
As people on the forum have said after mid November they don't do both applications together

Hey i was referring to visa and surrender...they stopped accepting surrender and oci together

yes and Yes, but i suggest dont go to surrey they are a bunch of morons, go to vancouver instead

Here are my surrender certificate timelines:

Application applied By appointment: 29-Nov-2021 (BLS Toronto)
Application status on BLS tracking and Passport sava: Processing
Passport sava: Surrender granted: 8-Dec-2021
Passport sava: Surrender certificated printed: 17-Dec-2021
BLS tracking: Ready for dispatch: 21-Dec-2021
Received Surrender certificate: 22-Dec-2021

You only have to get the draft for $345. Other two fees can be paid by debit card.

Aahhh that's what i thought too! I can't find my application yet on this link...i checked mine on bls site and says processing at consulate general...how long does it take to reflect it on oci website?

Hey don't go there walk in...BLS Brampton opens up slots every morning between 8.20 to 9 am for the same day appointment...use that instead...i was there just last Friday 12/17 so don't waste your time and energy...dm me if you need help

I am in Edmonton though. I see Calgary BLS has LOTS of slots.
