I had applied for a TRV before applying for PGWP (because i had applied for Study Permit Extension earlier this year). Processing times for TRV are very long some waited for months. But mine took approx 5-6 weeks.

Hello! I applied for PGWP on Sep 8th inside Canada, Online. When I applied it said I can work until Jan 6th or until a decision is made, whichever comes first.
Did anyone else get a letter authorizing the work while processing the PGWP that had a limit date on it? Not sure if I will have to stop working or probably fill a Webform. Every regulation/legislation I could find did not mention a limit date. Any ideas?

Would someone mind helping me out... appreciate any feedback!
Partner will apply for PGWP in January 2022, I can not apply for my SOWP until my partner has received her PGWP & it's included in my application.
Due to current processing times, I doubt we will receive the PGWP before my current work permit expires in March 2022.
Plan is to wait until the last day or so & apply for my SOWP with my partners letter of employment, 3 pay stubs, & contract. Then upload PGWP once received, to my application via webform.
Alternatively I may even upload my partners application form for the PGWP to my SOWP application.
Again, any help/opinion would be very much appreciated.

Not claiming to an expert on the matter but recently PM Trudeau wrote a letter to IRCC to prioritize applications (multiple news article available on google). So, if everything goes well there could be significant changes (in terms of speed) post holidays. Looks like you guys have planned well, wish you best of luck!
