The first background check was done March 22, 2021. Now background check is still completed. I don’t know why I need to wait for more than 5 months for oath invitation.

I completed my citizenship ceremony on Saturday, Dec 11. One of the points the judge mentioned was that the Mississauga office is conducting 3 ceremonies a day with around 40 applicants in one session, 6 days a week. I am not sure as to when the applicants applied or about other locations but they are trying to clear up the backlog. So if you are waiting for the oath invite all I can say is that it will happen soon.

3 ceremonies in Mississauga only.
before covid approximately 120 persons were taking oath in 1 day so for meet that numbers we are doing 3 ceremonies now.

This is great news! I wish Montreal office could do the same. I applied July 2020 and DM on July 3, 2021. I’ve been waiting for oath invitation for more than 5 months. Montreal office.

I don't know how this can be validated - we barely see any people saying that they were invited to Oath, but at the same time a bunch of people not of this forum or didn't report any further updates since they've been waiting for so long.
According to what the judge say it's roughly 120 people a day which makes 720 people a week (6 days per week). My question where are these people?!
Is it 2018 & 2019 applicants?

Most people are not on internet forums and what we see here is only a handful of the overall representation. For example just from my office around 6 people incl., myself have applied between 2020-2021 and only I am on the forum.

Yeah, that's a good point for sure. Sadly it makes the tracker not very representable & data in it inconclusive, hence we see no logic in how they invite people to the Oath.
