Hi all friends
Very sad news for me, I got refusal letter on 19/10/2021. Officer gave reason that I am not eligible. Can I appeal this decision?
Really sorry about that.
You may discuss your chance for appeal with an immigration lawyer. But it might be very slim...

This is wonderful news. Congratulations. Unfortunately for us our medicals will expire on Friday. It’s been a year since we got our pre-arrival letter and still no PPR.
I'm just thinking of those at the (almost) final stage of the process...
Those who have received pre-arrival invitation/medical passed months ago but still awaiting THE final decision.
Any updates since then?

My Medical report was received June 14 but nothing happened since then.

That's really been quite some time ago... so has it expired as well? Has there been any conversation with IRCC, if you need to re-do medical...?

Great News.. from which country you have applied from ??
Hello Folks,
My Application deadline is about to come in January and I have lost all hope as most of the people who didn't get the medical request are getting refused later on their deadline. this process wasted 2 years.
Good luck to all of you guys.

I don't think you should lose hope just yet. Covid extended the timeline for everyone by a good 6 months. My original deadline was September 2021 and I haven't received anything yet, one way or another--no rejection and no medical request. Covid sure set everything back, but the process seems to be moving again, as people who submitted their applications in September 2019 are now seeing medical requests and approvals.

Well, Thanks but I got AOR in August 2019. Let see, seems like they are sending Generic Refusal to most of the people on their deadline. Maybe London VO is slow or what feeling not good.

Hello ParuMani
As I remember that you got your AOR in Feb 2020 ! Did you receive biometric request or not yet? I guess they forgot about the first quarter 2020 applications. Hope that you will receive your Medical request asap.
I am from the march 2020 applicants. I didn't even receive the permanent file number I just got the temp one only.
Still Dec 2019 application is not moving forward...
Not sure if anyone has an answer to this. . . But once you get PPR, and land in Canada, how long does it take to get the permit residence card?
