Has anyone recently travelled to Canada after new restrictions were imposed? I was wondering where do we have to quarantine once we land in Canada and also my spouse has just one dose of Pfizer will she be allowed to board the plane and we are flying with Etihad, any leads will be highly appreciated thank you

That should be fine, although if it's reasonably convenient to do now, that might be better. You might find it harder to renew later or from Canada, and perhaps not a lot of buffer if your plans to settle in Canada change for whatever reason. Just as two minor examples. And if you odn't plan to travel before April, you should have time. Note, it is more of a problem to renew passport once your COPR has been issued.
(I have no knowledge of how long passport renewal takes in Pakistan though)
My overseas family medical was 29 November 2021 also they passed biometric and they received pre arrival how long will take to receive PPR ?

Guys,
Looking for some help.
- Got PR in Nov 2017 while I was in Canada.
- Moved out of Canada in 2019 April due to family reasons and have not been able to return since.
- Got married in July 2019. And then came the pandemic due to which I got stuck and could not move back.
- My PR expires in Dec 2022.
Now that I am planning to move back, can anyone tell me what timelines should I be looking at for my wife immigration?
I recently applied her study visa and got rejection. So we have biometrics and medical already done in place.
Now if I go back to Canada, what are the average timelines I should be looking at? And is there any way I can initiate her application from outside Canada and can land in Canada on and off during this time period?

Move back to Canada and sponsor. You should remain in Canada except for short trips, a few weeks at a time. Expect spnaorship to take about a year.
You must make sure your total time out of Canada is less than 1095 days in any five year period, including from the date of your landing.

Yes, that looks like the only solution from what I have been reading.
But I did spoke to a consultant and he said the same thing adding an exception, that your file would come to Islamabad at the last stage and then only you would be needed in Canada. They will let me know about that and then I can move there... not sure how true is that.
But thank you soooo much for your response.

That is not true and there are sad stories here of those who lost a lot of time with their sponsorships because of such bad advice. My advice would be to run away from such consultants.
