I just received a letter in my PR application asking me to retake medical examination. However, they have asked me this already directly to my e-mail back in April, which I guess is related to my student visa... I am sending a web form to clear things up... I hope they can reuse the medical exam I took this year, because this process is tiresome and I dont want to keep wasting money with it...

IRCC ask for Sch A to verify if there have been any major changes that would mandate asking for additional PCCs or checks. Also, if there were gaps it any info missing in your application, then too Sec A can be sent.
