Many times also through webforms, no help.
When submitting a web form, I know for a fact that in most cases, they don't even provide a relevant answer to the question as I've been there multiple times, but when you call them, they'd tell you the status of your application, whether it is processing or waiting for documents from your end, but that's all about it.

When you give them a call, what do they tell you though?
That they Can’t tell you the status due to ongoing priority policy.

I would suggest trying to call again as another agent might pick up and provide a better answer.

We don`t get notification of `decision made` update from `in process` . Next will be the COPR mail. Many Congratulations

Not yet. I never went for biometrics and neither did they refund the amount. Also, while checking the status over phone, it was still mentioned as being in progress.

Yes, on the automated message they mention that they do not need biometrics. But was still asked to pay the biometrics. Not sure why it is contradictory.
