I think you have to be in Canada because your PR card will be no longer valid and you wouldn't have a document to re enter Canada

can you have your certificate mailed to the country you are reside and apply for passport from the Canadian consulate in that country?

Hi Guys, do i post it here or in November thread ? I sent an application to IRCC in November but got AOR in Feb
So far only update that i had "Background Check" - Complete
Rest is in Process or not started.

Here is what tracker shows

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on November 13, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 5, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on March 23, 2021.

My mailing address is different than residential address. The clerk checked with me that they can send to mailing address I said yes. Any one in same boat where they mentioned mailing address and received at residential address? How long will it take from status closed to receive certificate?

I got my invitation to the ceremony today for December 2, Calgary, I applied February 2020

I was asked on Nov 5th to send the copy of all the pages of the passport within 30 days , which was mailed and received on Nov 15.

Application send Feb 28 2020.
AOR Aug 20 2020.
Background verification complete Feb 3, 2021
Test Invite: Sep 3, 2021
Test Taken Sep 17, 2021
Test status updated to complete Sep 20, 2021
Passport Pages requested : Nov 5, 2021
Passport Pages send: Nov 15, 2021

Should I also send them email that passport pages have been send and received?

I have completed my citizenship test and waiting for oath. I just observed that my application status updated date shows as Nov 22nd (yesterday),). But there was no updates at all. Did any of you experience similar scenario?

I have the same situation. NO idea what's going on. Hopefully this means the oath is around the corner.

They are preparing for the next crisis. After they finish with Afghans, they will say we have surveys to sort out ... and thus delay our applications even more
