Phew... Received AOR today Nov-17 at 10 am.... At last.

Aug-19, online applicant.

I checked my application through the new portal. And this is what I see.
Application History Sep 28 2021 - Application filed- We have received your application and have begun to process your application information. Information about next steps and required action items will be coming soon.
Language skills- In process
Physical Presence- In process
BG Verification- In process
Prohibitions- In process

I am little confused here, my AOR was on Nov 9th 2021, and here it says application was filed on Sep 28 2021. Why is there a difference of the dates of application being received later but filed earlier ? Can anyone please explain? Thank you!

I guess yours was paper application received by CIC on Aug-20.
Sep-28 is the date when the team opened your package, put in the system and started reviewing your application. AOR date is when they communicated to you. You don't need to worry about these dates, this is how CIC works.

Did you check in the ecas portal https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas

What do you see here? Received or In Process?

Mine has similar dates to yours. “in Progress” it is a status by default once they receive the application and start working on it.

Let’s hope those tabs start turning to “completed” soon

ECAS is still showing application not found. Its been 3 days How long does it take? I tried using UCI as well as Application number, no luck.

Congrats.!
It takes atleast one day for the application to reflect in the new system and you register it. In ecas system, it takes more than a day.
