ECAS never worked for me (even during PR process) and I receive the usual message.
I will try calling IRCC tomorrow.

We were not able to identify you using the information you provided.

New dashboard shows that Background check was finished on November 10, 2021.
No change in other fields.

Is it time for me to start preparing for the test?

quick question - I am an indian citizen by birth, my old passport was expiring in May 2022, I have just renewed my passport and I now have a new passport number,
Do I need to update the details of the new passport in my Citizenship application? How do I do that?

It may take a couple of days for the test to change the status to completed on the dashboard

I am just wondering if anyone of you has a test invite and BG is still in process. Is it okay to have a test invite and BG still in process? or this means that the BG check will take a long time then they decide to send me a test invitation before completing the BG.

Not a mandatory thing. Your passport was valid at time of your application which was accurate and suffices the requirement.

I never saw any ghost update so far. I manually logged in to view the status in the Old ECAS which reflected that they started the processing from Sep 9th. By this time I should have got my BG completed per current trends.

As you are a Permanent resident of Canada you will select the Privacy act option.

Read Discover Canada at least twice.
