You're welcome. Can you tell I have been obsessing about this for some time?! haha I hope you're having a great weekend! I'm hoping you and me both get these very soon, it's certainly looking that way! ❤
applied locally. I am based in NB.. so chose to apply at local Halifax office… by Canada post (non courier)a instead of applying via courier to the Gatineau, Quebec Passport. I wonder what will be the difference? Perhaps place of issue will be different.

oh cool, well you could call them bright and early tomorrow morning at 7:30am to be at the head of the line and they should be able to give you a status and possibly even tracking numbers. I'd call and ask for those two things and see what they say. their website says they usually have a status by the 10th business day and you're way past that. if you call, let us know what they say!
The guarantor does need to complete all 3 things... sign the photos, complete and sign the application section, and sign front and back copies of the forms of identification.
Planning to complete the process of getting a passport in person. Waiting on a call to schedule an appointment.
Can someone advise on which forms/documents/IDs would I need to take with me? Anything else I should be aware of, especially with respect to things needed from guarantor and references?

You'll need to bring all the documents required for the application; e.g. birth certificate or proof of citizenship, photo IDs signed by your guarantor, photos signed by your guarantor, etc. You should have everything you'd need just as if you were mailing it in.
