I'm an outland applicant
Submitted my PR application on Nov. 5th, 2020 and got XEP on April 2021, then never heard back from them. Any one in my situation and got the AOR?
Inland or outland?
When did you submitted your PR application?
Inland and submitted on Dec 10, 2020. See my signature for detailed timeline. Thank you!
Just received our PR cards. Two inland applicants. Our portal says photos are in review with IRCC, which indicates this status has nothing to do with your receipt of PR cards (also confirmed by other members in this thread). One recommendation: take your PR photo with professional studios, like Jean Coutu, just to make your life easier. My friend took his photo by himself, which was not accepted by IRCC. Then he turned to Jean Coutu but has been waiting for more than one month after submission.
Plz refer to my signature for our detailed timeline.
Congrats.
For the photos I used Passport Photo Editor application on my smartphone, the app is free with only few ads and it works perfectly. My 4 photos were accepted by IRCC.
One advice : Take the photo with a white wall and play with exposure to increase clarity.
January 2021 getting AOR I see.
I saw a march 2021 getting his AOR

Congrats!
I had seen the message I shared above before they requested a medical exam. So, I'm guessing they won't ask you to do one.
I got medical request today.

Interesting! You said you had done your medical exam within the last five years, right?

Are you guys able to check Application status using this ecas (
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en/)? For some reason and all out sudden, I can't see anything on this portal.
Checking this site twice a day for more than 2.5 years now….just for nothing…haha. Checked just now as well….it’s working.
