So, you asked for urgent processing with proofs?

No I did not go through the webform process and ask for urgent request but I had my local VO email so I just emailed them telling I have to travel soon. Did not get any reply but they moved the file super fast

Which office is it? It could have been just a coincidence too. Who knows? Nobody knows how they work. I did the test almost 2 months ago and I thought that the end off all this waiting was near, but 2 months later nothing has changed after the test :-(

Vancouver office, no it's not a coincidence as I had mentioned the same to my interviewer and my PR is expiring so told them I did not wanted to renew it again.
My interview was done before the test itself and she had approved everything and said once you do the test we can get you to oath in 6-8 weeks.

If you have your test completed and valid reason like travel or anything that does not fall in urgent application you should reach out to them they are flexible that way

Invited to Oath Ceremony November 19th. Do you know after that oath if I need to have Canada Passport in hand to fly to US and back in December?

Yes you need passport as citizenship certificate is not considered travel document.

Thanks! I never looked into this part of the process and didn't think I'd be in this jam. I'm hoping to fly on December 10th so hopefully, that'll be enough time to get the certificate and urgently apply for the passport then.
