PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2021

UPDATE!!

I submitted mine on July and was received July 16th. I got my AOR yesterday and Decision made was also posted on my ecas (both October 29th). It took 12 hours or so for my application to appear on ecas. Hope to get our cards soon.

Card was sent Nov. 2nd and received it on the mail just now, Nov 4th.

My case is bit different. I did my legal nam change and my current resident card doesn’t expire for another 1.5 year, but since my primary document(passport) has new legal name and my card has former name, so i had to send an application to update the card. This is also considered as renewal application. Also i have stayed 3 months out of country in past 3 three so I automatically meet residency obligation.
i wanted to travel home coming January for marriage but can’t set dates since I don’t have updated card. I know i can apply prtd but I don’t wish to walk that way.
I am thinking to approach a local mp in next 15 days if there’s no update. Does anyone has any idea how long does it take to obtain prtd?

My husband and my daughter have the same reason as you for applying to renew their pr cards. Their application was received in September 24, 2021 .
please keep updating regarding your card.

My PR card renewal application received by them on 13 Oct 2021. When can I expect first or any type of communication?
What are the different statuses for PR card renewal?

I also tried calling them for status but same generic reply, they are dealing Afghanistan crisis. Please suggest
