I think with the recent trend, my application should change to assigned for processing on or before the end of this week, in the interim I want to apply for a temporary work permit so I can resume work in Canada. is that a good idea and what possible impact could that have on my ongoing PR applications?
There's a registered consultant in Canada that has setup a page in Facebook (I forgot the exact name since it's so generic) but her name is Marina Nelson. She and her colleagues answers questions like these for free. I would suggest you post your query there since the answer would come from experts

Hey guys, my current boss received additional documents request today (recent pay statements).
Should she reply to the officer e-mail with the translation copies + the original documents? Or she can send only the original documents which are in Portuguese?
I'm asking because I thought it could seem strange that she has translated copies of these documents. Anyone have been through the same? Please share any thoughts on this.. thanks in advance!

Greetings folks,
I submitted my ainp application on 9 oct and my status now is information requested. My manager needs permission from my company to respond to the officer email. What if my manager doesn't get the permission and he isn't able to respond. How can I convince the officer of the same and get my nomination?

Did you receive any notification email when they sent an employment verification to your employer like as cc in the email? I am afraid my employer might not able to see the mail.
Thanks.
