Hi everyone, I am a bit confused and frustrated. In February 2021, My spouse applied for a visitor visa with choosing Covid-19 exemption on the form. But the exemption was rejected in 14 days. And we were told that visa application will be processed when travel restrictions are over. Since then we have never got any updates.
- We sent a web form to get a travel exemption for the reason of family reunification. But no response for months
- I got my post graduate work permit (PGWP) last month.
- I sent an email to the visa office explaining the changes to my permit and still no response.
- Now I am thinking to re apply for a visitor visa for my spouse with my new work permit information.
Do you think should we reapply or keep waiting for a response for the present application?

I applied TRV for my parents on GcKey on September 15. They did biometrics on October 27th and I just received an "we are still working on your application" email. I am trying to login into gckey but seems like the server is down?

I just got couple of mails from cic saying that we are working on the applications. Individual emails on both the applications.
