I got a ghost update yesterday. When I signed in it was "Application/Profile Update" and went back to a word "Submitted". I wonder what does that mean? I submitted my application on Sept 13, 2021.

Hi Everyone, I realized my application was updated a couple of minutes ago, and my eligibility review has started. I applied on August 21st from Ontario, however I have not been able to work in my field of study because of the condition that immigration officer mistakenly had put on my study permit (which according to CIC agent I have to follow until I get my work permit). I have sent a couple of webform so far, and I also contacted the MP of my city and asked her to interfere. I hope everything goes well!

It means they are reviewing your eligibility. You will get your approval letter soon.

Medical tests are valid for one year, so I am assuming the test you did when applying for your study permit, is not valid anymore.

Does it mean that The fact that they didnt reply with a refusal but instead asked for a medical exam, that i have good chances to be approved ?
Because why would they make me lose money right ?

I don't think there is anything to worry about when they ask for documents. If they wanted to reject you, they wouldn't have asked for additional documents.

I think i speak for everybody when i say that i havnt been the same since i started this journey- i wonder how it would feel to finally get PR or citizeship haha

I took couple part-time semester and realised ive sent supporting documents just for some ... is it too late to send an extra letter of explanation ? how should i proceed ? should i just leave my application this way ? thank you for your help and support

I took couple part-time semester and realised ive sent supporting documents just for some ... is it too late to send an extra letter of explanation ? how should i proceed ? should i just leave my application this way ? thank you for your help and support

Well, usually having part-time semesters (Except for the last semester) makes you ineligible for a PGWP, but you can always include a letter of explanation to reduce the risk of refusal. If they have not started reviewing your eligibility, you can send a webform and attach your letter to that.

I think it is much better if you send an explanation letter and explain your situation for those semesters.
