I thought the date starts from when the clinic sends the medical report to IRCC? There's a medical validity date indicated in the GCMS notes, and it's a few days after the medical exam.

Only in very rare cases, the validity start date would vary. Else in most of the cases, it would be valid for a year from the date its results are processed by a Health Canada Officer.

Not true. I had my medicals done in October 2020 and passed in February 2021 but they just expired last week. Now it just says "you don't need a medical exam"
