My test status got updated on 29th Oct with the test date between 5th-25th Nov.


Timeline:

Paper Application
Toronto
Application received: 1st April 2021
AOR: 15th June 2021
Tracker updated: 16th June 2021
Old ECAS updated In Process: 13th September 2021
BG Verification completed: 16th September 2021
Test status updated: 29th Oct 2021

What is the test window? Could you please let us know when you have received the actual test invite email? Thanks

Application 21st April 2021 online.
AOR received on 23rd August.
IP on 24th August.

On Thursday, 28th Oct, I received an email from this: zstest@example.com <ircc.commdonotreply-nepasrepondrecomm.ircc@cic.gc.ca> with subject and message both written as "Test IRCC Email". No update on my dashboard though.

Has anybody received this same email?

Does anybody have any idea what this means?

This is the first time I have seen this email, be careful as it could be spam. The test invite email usually has the following structure: the first one is from Mississauga and the second one from Scarborough

It could also be that they are creating new email addresses for online applicants, but just be careful with suspicious emails and hyperlinks included.

Hi strong faith , I have FB recived in the same day I got the finger print done , at the end of Tracker it is indicated and they mention it is under review
However it still showing in upper part of tracker that finger print requires .

this is pending from 1 week .

did you see something like this before ?
How long it take to have Bg completed

Yes I have seen some seeing FP received the same or a day before they were taken, but the BG will actually change to completed until IRCC has had the opportunity to review the results, which is usually within 3 - 6 weeks after FP were submitted.

Yes it is electronic submission, but remember that there are many applicants providing FP, therefore I can assume there is a queue and they review chronologically, this is just my personal observation.

Maybe 3-6 weeks for IRCC office to open it and update the system !
how do you know that they sent it, did you contact the RCMP directly ?

No I did not , it is indicated on the tracker that it is received and under review

I haven't received the test invite email yet. Based on the discussion and threads I follow, generally the test invite email comes before 1-2 days of the actual test window.

My test window is 5th-25th Nov, 2021.

Yes you will receive the test invite email 1 or 2 days before the start of the test window (potentially around Nov 3 or 4).

The process is unknown, it could be electronically submitted or by mail through Canada Post, the only thing we can do is wait until the next step!!!
