I just filled a webform yesterday and requested them to withdraw my 1st application…

I did this as well and today I got a response that a note has been added on my file to notify the responsible office that I wish to withdraw my application. Did you get this as well? And any update on your second application?

what does the status of eligibility change to ??

On your account, under review of eligibility:
"We are currently reviewing your eligibility...."
This is the message you get if your eligibility review has started.

I think the new portal is not for inland applicants, so you have to use GC key.
Did they start your eligibility review?

Really? I'm an inland applicant and made my second application using the IRCC Portal. Can you point me to where it says inland applicants shouldn't use the portal?

There are a few questions that you have to answer before you are redirected to apply through the IRCC portal.
Which one of those conditions do you meet?
Inside Canada TRV applicants do not meet any of those conditions.

Hmm good question. I chose 'To visit as a tourist'. My BOWP is expiring mid Dec (another one is currently under process). My plan is to travel outside of Canada in Nov and and come back end of December. I applied as a tourist since if my BOWP isn't processed before I make my trip out of the country my implied status would be gone and I'd be just a visitor when I return. I explained all of this in the LOE and one of the supporting documents I was asked to submit was letter of employment.

why that happens? some application move early and some are not?

did you call them or used priority enquiry? generally how much time they take to response?

Passport sent on 22nd Oct
Passport received on 26th Oct
Account update on 29th Oct around 11 am,
Document/visa issued.
Canada Post link not activated yet.
Hope this helps someone in understanding the estimate of Passport sending.
Will update again as soon as Passport received back to me.
