I have a question for people travelling from India. Canada is only accepting covid tests from a laboratory located inside Delhi airport. My parents will be travelling to Delhi from another city to do this test. The test results are provided in 8-10h . Is it allowed to go outside the airport after getting test done? So that they can stay in a hotel and rest? The covid test is at night and flight is next day in the morning. Does anyone know about this?

Covid19 testing facility is in the parking lot of T3. It's moreoless is drive through. So after test we can leave to our hotels or house. It is not inside the main terminal itself.

Yes they can leave for the hotel after the test but keep in mind that the test has to be performed within 18 hrs before the flight.

Thank you for this info. They wont have access to car. Is it walkable to go there from the terminal? Or they have to take some form of transport?

Yes they can leave for the hotel after the test but keep in mind that the test has to be performed within 18 hrs before the flight.

I applied for my moms visitor visa back on 24th june and she did her biometrics on 6th august..after that there has been no update..
Can anyone suggest whether I shoud re apply her visitor visa application again or just wait for any update??

i would suggest apply again. i had applied june 7. no reply . re-applied september 13, got PPR october 22. i made first application via gckey, second via portal
