Any applicants from the USA who applied via the IRCC portal after September 7th 2021? Did you get any response? when did you apply?
I am on a non-immigrant visa and I applied on 11th September. I had my first application submitted via GCkey on 10th April 2021. No response on either of the applications.
Just got an update in my parents supervisa application:
My old application submitted on Mar2021 in GC key , my dads medical got updated today to passed. Moms no status update. Both medicals were submitted via webform.
New IRCC portal, no update. I dont know which one are they processing old or new..

My husband applied online ('old portal' GCkey) on the 29th of august.
Letter for biometrics : 30th of august.
Biometrics done: 7th of september
AOR for the biometrics: 22nd of september
TRV approved: 23th of September.
We didn't re-apply after the changes made on the 7th.
I hope things will move fast (and in the good direction) on your end.
Cheers!
Could you please let me know a bit about your explanation letter and the proof that you've submitted? I am going through a situation where my spouse TRV refused. also please let me know where you've applied from?
Hey can you please brief how you requested for CAN+ ? any idea if it applicable to people who applied for visit visa with no ties in Canada but just to visit ?
Just mentioned in the letter of explanation that she has active US visa. Anyone who has/had/ visited Canada in the last 10 years or have valid US visa are automatically eligible for CAN+. They screen for eligibility automatically when you apply. I just made sure to mention it again, that's all.

hmm..i did for both my applications but for first it says eligibility in progress and second nothing at all. These Canadian websites have elaborated theoretical context for each immigration related stuff not nothing gets seen in practicality. Just so vexed by their stupid system.
