I was a CEC outland candidate. i filed my application from India and moved to Dubai to this year.
I think the only reason my file moved was because of the gcms notes request. I heard that an officer has to acess the file for to retrieve it and if its RFV they force the visa officer to act ASAP
When was your AOR and which stream were you in ? Did you receive any update before PPR or directly got the final email. What is your country of residence?
i got a remedical request in March 2021 did it in May 2021.
Then long silence
I applied gcms notes in August. Then i got the PPR email.
I am sorry i don't remember the exact timeline and events. My AOR was 27March 2020
Just a quick question. IELTS is valid for 2 years so do I need to retake IELTS if it is expiring on 21st November, 2021 and my application is still in process (I haven't received PPR email. Application status is showing as "Your application is completed"). I have already received AOR. @legalfalcon Please help with query.

Hi @legalfalcon. If an outland applicant receives CoPR email, is it okay to reply and also let them know a change of destination city? Would it delay the issuance of PR? Is it also necessary to arrive exactly to the chosen destination city?
Any inland applicants here still waiting? I've had a CEC inland application in since early April 2020 and heard absolutely nothing since my medicals were extended in July...
Thank you CEC inland applicants for sharing your situations. That proves we are in a “black whole” of the pre-pandemic and begin of pandemic timeframe that got completely off track for all applicants.
I’m a FSW-Inland applicant from March as well.
every PNP and CEC inland applicants from Aug 2020 onwards seem not to have taken more than 9 months for their PPR.
so, we got stuck on that bucket of pre-pandemic applicants, and apparently it affected all types of applications, inland and Outland.
What a mystery on why keeping us waiting while they process more recent applicants…
