For someone who has received a PPR,, the PPR states:
* Your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected length of stay in Canada
* Please note that we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date on your passport
However, the passport expires before the end of their expected length of stay, what is the solution?
Person got PPR and it states that their passport MUST be valid for the all their expected length of stay in canada. And expected length is 4 years, however, the passport has only 3 years left, is it okay to submit the passport this way or not? Or what is the solution?
Because it also states that they can’t issue a visa beyond the expiry date of the passport.
But after the 3 years what will happen? They won’t issue a study permit for that year left???
And if Person submits Passport now, will it be stamped or not because it doesn’t go with their policy of “being valid for expected length“

You can apply for SP extension inside Canada before current SP expires. No big deal. Lots of students have gone through with the same situation and were able to extend their SPs.
