Do you why they sent this letter? Does it have anything to do with what level of processing they're at?

Oh okay! Wow can't wait for that letter then. Thanks a lot for this information. I was thinking they'll ask for police certificates but that makes it even better!

Hi there, i am not sure if this thread is even active enough for a response or not but i wanted to get some feedback on the supervisa application for my mother. Some quick background: I live in Canada with my elder brother and we both came to this country seeking asylum on the basis of religious security on account of the worsening religious conditions of our country. My elder brother is a permanent resident now and so am i and we both don't have canadian citizenship and cannot go back to our home country. We both haven't seen our mother in several years so wanted to apply for a supervisa for her to come and visit us temporarily and we have no intention on having her apply for asylum as well since the rest of our family is still back home and my mother plans to return to them after spending some time with us. we applied for a supervisa for my mother in october 2020 and it was rejected because of the reason: "I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence". The letter also said that we can reapply if we feel like we can respond to these concerns and demonstrate that our situation meets the requirement. so now we are re-applying again and this time attaching additional documents both from the side of my mother and my elder brother(her sponsor) explaining the reasons why she will indeed return. I tried to be as detailed as possible in explaining the reasons why she plans on returning and tried to dispel any further doubts i thought they might have. my question is can i be sure that they will consider these additional before rendering a verdict? i feel like we made a pretty strong case this time around but i just wanted to get someone else's opinion on this. perhaps someone who has gone through a similar process where they applied twice and it was accepted the second time around

Supervisa rejected? Go for Judicial Review man
Supervisa rejected? Go for Judicial Review man
it was rejected for the reason i highlighted and i am planning on re-applying in the next few days but if it is rejected again i will go ahead with what you recommended. would you mind expanding on what a judicial review is exactly?
Hi all,
Please suggest if something could be done for the following case
1. Submited SV application for my father on 17th Oct. While my father was in India
2. My father travelling to Canada on 4th Nov. On his normal visitors visa
3. few days back got a request from IRCC asking to provide details on a) current residence of my father and b) where would he like to submit passport upon request
4. I replied saying current residence is canada and he will be submitting passport in ottawa if the request is received until 31march.
5. Now got a letter from IRCC saying that his application has been canceled since he needs to be outside Canada for applying for super visa.
Questions
1. Can I send them a web form explaining the situation that the application was submitted when he was in his home country
2. Would it have made a difference if I said that the passport will be submitted in India, but the point here was that my father plans to stay in Canada until 30th April so if he would have received the request in say 1 month then it would not have sufficient time to go back and submit his passport.
Thanks in advance
