Delayed yes.
Refused yes but then reopened the same cases as well.

Two cases approved that I know of

One @intlala AoR 22nd July, eCoPR in late september. So about 2 months processing. That is a very fast processing and compareable to fastest ones at 45-50 days in CEC.
One more in 90 days. Thats decent too.

I personally have applied under the same policy.

How did you contact the IRCC to get the case reopened?

Mine has not even reached till that point. It has been submitted late september. Few folks whose application was refused was automatically re-opened. One guy called the IRCC and in 2 hours his case was reopened. Their posts are in august or july thread.

A quick query, are you guys applying/applied using the old medical exam or did a new upfront medical check?

I am applying with an upfront new medical. One of my friends just got their CEC application approved with an old medical. My understanding is, it takes one month to pass medical and bio if you use a new medical and two months if you use an old medical. The overall timeline is unaffected.

It's a temporary UCI given to applications and updates to the UCI on your study/work permit when an agent starts processing your application. I am not sure when exactly they update the UCI number.
