I have a query. The IRCC asked for some additional documents from me two weeks ago. And today when i called it says nothing about my additional documents. Earlier it was showing we have requested some additional documents from you. Please check your messages. But now it just says we are reviewing the eligibility. And no interview required and background check is in progress(since april6) does this mean that they have reviewed my additional documents or not??
Hi , My visa will get expired next month, I applied for work permit extension 3 months ago and that one is also in progress. I finished my 7 month yesterday and no update for my PR so far. What will happen when my visa get expired? Am I able to continue working? will I loose access to my bank account? What about MSP?
im so stressed and don’t know what to do.

We are just not lucky. Our applications were assigned to a slow and lazy officer who earns money by not working.
How come this process system is so random? Older applications should be taken care of earlier than recent ones. My friend applied later than me (in April) has received his PR card in July while my application even has no ghost update as of today.
I got some more disappointing news from another thread that the applications submitted after this July have currently priority over those submitted earlier like ours. This means these venerable and professional Visa Officiers are now dedicating themselves to approving the latest applications.
I am really happy for those lucky guys. But fair play is still common-sensical in Canada, isnt it...
From some thread on this website. I hope it is fake.
I checked **CEC July 2021 AOR** thread and found some guys there received the Portal Email already.

While we cannot neglect the fact some people with later AOR are receiving their PR, this not such a thing of putting specific AOR month ahead of the others.
Based on my observation (that is a personal idea), the main factors are as follows:
1- NOC: which obviously some of them are in priority of process (i.e. nurses, administration, IT sector ...).
2- Country of origin
3- Number of dependents.
4- Are dependents are outland or inland?
I don't think that's the case...I have bank card which expires 3 yrs after my work permit expiry...
Even if bank card expires, no one can close your account without your permission.
