if am not wrong, passport request comes from Local Visa office. But an indication that they want to issue PPR, but they want a passport which has good passport validity.. you have not renewed? you will get visa only till expiry of your passport..
I have renewed it already and it is currently with the immigration office of my current country of residence for student visa extension.
is it better to wait until i receive the passport with the extended visa and submit the visa page and bio page together or just to submit the bio page now without waiting for the student visa then attach a letter to explain the situation.

Hello everyone, I have an update on my sister's application. She finally got PPR email today.
* Purpose of travel: To unite with an extended family member who is a permanent resident of Canada.
* Biometric process is no needed
* Visa office: Ankara
Timeline:
1) First application via GCKey
- submitted, August 7
- information letter: Request for an Authorization for Exemption from Canadian Travel Restrictions for the Purpose of Family Reunification, August 27
2) Second application via IRCC new portal
- submitted, September 29
- Biometric Validity Letter, October 18
- Original Passport Request, October 18
There is no change in current status of both applications. It is still SUBMITTED , I have not received any message about withdrawing the first application yet.
I hope everyone gets PPR email soon.

Hi all, Just came across this email which can be used to prioritize visitor visa requests. This was having clause about Afghanistan crisis couple of weeks back which is missing now
My sister in-law submitted her visit visa application last August 2020 and until now she did not receive and response
Can you please advise us if she will re-submit her application or better yet to wait though she has no plan to travel .
I see the normal processing time for TRV is 190 days....so if anyone is planning.a child then need to submit visa application as soon as they got to know that they are expecting a child or plan family based on processing time ...ridiculous.
