Hi,

i applied under IG and they sent a letter for medical examen a month ago with a deadline oct 21 but I did not receive until today as I didn’t link my account yet. I booked my exams for tomorrow oct 19 but it takes 5-10 days to get the results and I will miss my deadline. Please advise

Hi guys, anyone has any idea, what I have to do. I linked my application on 8october. I got to know about pcc request. After that, no update. I am really frustrated about their process, like how can anyone know when they have link application without any notification. Even they mentioned deadline for pcc is 30 October. Till date no update.

Don’t worry about the results.
On 19 when you go for your medical they will give you a paper, scan and upload that document. That should be sufficient.

No She said we are not supposed to give any particular processing time and when I mentioned that many of my friends got their COPR in 3-4 weeks after submitting their PCC. She said let’s talk about your application we doesn’t need to talk about your friends application.
Sorry but I don’t understand how is your friends application related to your application, your life experience and the documents you provided. Also, you need to consider that each officer works different some slow and others even slower. So just be patient our time will come as well.

Yes… I understood. The reason being paranoid is that I applied in around 33 mins. I mean at 12:33 PM and It’s been almost 2 & half months and I haven’t received any update. But Yes you are right everyone has different case With different profile and matter of officer as well but don’t you think they have to acknowledge our hard work to be a permanent resident?

You are right, they haven’t been fully transparent about this program, they also said that their goal was to reach 40k applications by the end of the year but they are no where close

Probably we both have the same officer
Aor/ adr August 3 than looong silence, October 3, i was asked again adr: to translate a document that is originally issued in 7 languages, including French and English. I decided instead of writing a letter stating the obvious just to act stupid and got a translation. Just sharing experience, that with ircc sometimes there is no logical explanation. I hope for the best for all of us.

Exactly Normad!! I’m not sure but Do you think, Does it matter what is our province of residence? I mean if they focus more on certain certain provinces where they wants to increase their population?I applied from Ontario. Where do you apply from and intent to live in future?

Ontario as well.
Honestly, I follow this forum just to get an idea how things are moving and try not to stress out.
I don’t know how files are processed not has IRCC given any information and they are not even expected to give, in my opinion.
The information on this form sometimes makes me mad, people express opinions as they are facts. For example: an officer number surfaced that he is the one rejecting only, well maybe it’s a procedure that only higher ranking managerial position can send out rejection. Anyway, I got carried away…
I try not to think about it all the time, even though it’s hard not to. But I hope for the best.

Same here. I also linked my application on 8th of October. Since then, there are no updates. No ADR. No GU. No AOR. If you have uploaded the PCC then you should receive a mail that says we have received the document that you provided.
