Application received: 12th April 2021
AOR: 4th October 2021
Medical Request: 4th October 2021

Even though ecas says they sent my spouse a medical request and correspondence on 4th October, he hasnt actually received any email or letter from them yet.

Has anyone else had this happen?

I am aware the medical and biometrics need to be done within 30 days, so sent them a web form and will call if they don't respond in a few days.

*Edit to add that yes, we have checked spam

There might be a delay/technical issue. Mine is opposite I can't check on ECAS the status of my application.

Hello guys, need some help i submitted my application in april together with medicals i had done earlier, so yesterday oct 12 i got a medical remider and today when i linked my application online on medical review it says i passed my medicals on oct 4, so dont know if i still have to do the medicals

Are there any of you guys still waiting for AOR..? My application received april 6 and temp aor at 5/28 but still have not received AOR yet.. I saw end of April applicant got AOR.. getting really nervous and worried..

try to link your temp file no. to gckey acct. put in without X to your temp file no.

Any idea how how much time it takes between AIP and COPR?

Don't feel discouraged. Check if the sponsor got a different email regarding the AOR. We got a different UCI # for sponsor and for many times, unable to link application. Today another email came into PA inbox containing a different UCI. We used that new UCI from PA and it worked. I have no idea why 2 different UCIs. Then PA got email for medicals and fee which were already done prior to submission.

Did you submit your Medicals and Fees prior to the reminder? What did you do with thr reminder?

Guys pay attention to this....best to follow up with IRCC office on any reminder etc and not assume is not needed or updated. The system could be saying something else while the agent is looking at a different thing.

IRCC has told @CBAImmigration that it has recently been rejecting spousal sponsorship applications due to a GCMS software glitch. The issue that led to the rejections involved applicants who live in Canada and were applying under the Family Class.

Called immigration and the agent confirmed i didnt need to redo the medicals it was a computer generated message that sent a medical reminder and right for permanent residence

I had medicals from 4 years ago and it shows passes in gckey and I paid the fees upfront so did not do anything
