what they not reply but if you try early morning 8am to 9 am toronto time some time they receive try it early morning when open office

Hello all, I asked earlier but to no response
We landed June 24th and did not receive a call from IRCC and have not gotten our PR card delivered to the Canadian address provided. It's been about 3 months and one or two weeks. Does anyone know if first PR card mail outs are delayed? It's impossible to contact IRCC.

Any feedback on how long people have had to wait to get their PR cards after landing in these last few months is appreciated.

I am waiting since 25 May 2021

since decision made is taking too long and contacting through email to let me know a pick up was requested or not won't be accommodated due to afghan situation
If I applied for PRTD and entered Canada should i RE-APPLY for Pr renewal again ( as a requirement by CIC) with another 5-6 month wait time or just wait to see how things will end up with the previous application?

My family and I got COPR this year-end of April (CEC inland), we have applied for our first PR card on the 19th of May by mail with the COPR document copy and a photograph ( as we didn't get portal information). There has been no progress on the PR card application. Is anyone else is in the same situation? Also, COPR is only valid for a year. What happens after that, would it affect us if we have already applied for a PR card?

Current Status: Complete (skipped DM maybe?)

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on October 4, 2021.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on October 4, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on October 4, 2021.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on October 12, 2021.

Submitted as urgent with:
- Work letter noting the office is moving back to a hybrid model and I will be required in the office
- Upcoming Flight trips itinerary

I requested an update on the 12th and it looks like the card was sent same day.

Hi Everyone,
I am a bit confused here, I see in this group people got AOR or are getting in who sent the photographs for PR CARD along with copy of COPR in JUNE/JULY 2021.

ARE ALL THESE PEOPLE ONLY FOR PR CARD RENEWALS? OR FOR FIRST CARD?

My timeline is
COPR: 15 MAY 2021 (CEC INLAND)
Sent the photograph on 16 MAY 2021- DELIVERED ON 20 MAY 2021.
FIRST PR CARD application
VISA OFFICE: OTTAWA.

I have also linked to CIC ACCOUNT , STATUS: SUBMITTED (status never changed).
I have got no AOR NO DM nothing waiting since 20 May 2021. Is there anyone else too in similar situation? Called IRCC they say its in process but since I haven't received any AOR OR DM which means they haven't opened the package.


I see everyone here in June and July got AOR in SEP 2021, I am waiting since MAY 2021 is it normal? is there anyone else too?
Please provide your insight they will be highly valuable.

Good for you! Was your PR renewal? Mine was received May 14, DM on Sep 9, but no update after that. It’s strange June application is processed but May is still not processed.

I sent my application June 7. It was delievered June 11. AOR received October 7, however nothing is showing in my account.

The job is in Canada? You don't need a valid PR card inside Canada.

You need it if you need to fulfill a work obligation to come back to the office if you are switching away from remote work and if you are out of the country. In my case I will be out in the near future.

Why reapply there is already ongoing application????

If I leave Canada without my PR, and if I am not in Canada to pickup, maybe CIC cancel it and I have to reapply. I have to come back to Canada using PR travel document

Have you called them? Maybe your card was selected for in-person pick-up.

If it was pickup, will they not call me? I tried calling CIC number but unable to talk to anyone
