No one can tell. I’ve been waiting since my test in March and decision made in April.

Wow, DM since April!! This is the first time I saw someone outside Montreal whose oath is so delayed after DM. I have been waiting for 2 months and I am beyond frustrated.

They have a couple of weeks to send me the invite or I it will be beyond the 6 months timeframe.

I am in Mississauga. I am reading some notes on people sending translated copies of their passports. When I submitted the application in Oct 2019, I sent copies of my passport but did not provide translations. Should I send them now?

I was asked to provide colour pages of passports and I did so, I sent them by registered mail and obtain receipt proof, now it has been 40 days no news or further update.
I checked both new system and Ecas, looking at my application status for each step there is an activity been logged, like initial application receipt then processing, finger print request, test update etc, but there is no activates logged against the last request for passport copies. Is it normal?

Only if you are asked. No need to send anything if they don’t request.

I didn’t see anything about the passport copies on my tracker, and there was the log for fingerprints. I think you are good.

I am beyond frustration, I think. Don’t even know how to call it. I have a new MP now, so I shot her an email to see if she can do something. I don’t think so, but there nothing else left for me to do.

Our new MP told me that they will take a look for me last week. No news yet.... I should be getting new GCMS notes soon.

It is unfortunate, our situation. Mississauga office was always very slow even before the pandemic. I have my PR card expiring in April and at the rate at which this is going, I won't be surprised if I have renew it.
