Hi, Could you help me understand what would be difference in applying for the supervisa from both these portals? I have collected 99% of the documents and will submit the application via GC Key in a day or two. But then I saw these comments about the new portal.
Additionally, I am not able to sign up on the new portal as it is asking for an inviter code which I don't have. Also it is not accepting my email address format as well.
i dont know the difference. Just heard that new portal they process sooner. But not true. I am still using GC key. I think that new portal is for those who applied prior to 7Sep2021 and want quick processing to travel within a month.
Inviter code will be sent to your email ID, used for registration .

Can we submit the application documents which i submitted prior to with ? Such as bank statement and pay stubs and etc or all has to be new and recent as possible

Do i need to withdraw the current cic portal application or i can let it be and apply another one ?

Yes it looks like it is for Visitor visa applications submitted before 7th Sep with any changes in their situation. I am looking at submitting super visa application and need that processed on urgent basis. Do you think this new link would process a new application although I did not have anything submitted previously or should I submit through GC Key login.

mine is same timeline as yours, applied 29th may 2021, biometric done ,no update after that, are u reapplying super visa or visitor, i heard reapplying visitor is processing faster than super

I applied for my in-laws supervisa back in aug, they did their biometrics on 15 sep, do u guys know if they have to do a medical ? or how long does it take to reach a decision?
Medical should be upfront meaning they have to do the medical at first and then you have to submit the medical report during the application process. If you are applying for a super visa then without medical you cannot submit the application because it's mandatory document.

1) Could I apply for her SuperVisa while she is here with me in Canada on a visitor visa?
2) What do current timelines look like to getting a visa, is it a long wait ?
