Visitor visa applied in October 2021

I applied visitor visa for my parents on Oct 21,2021 and did the biometrics on Dec6,2021. My parents already had a super visa & passport expiring in Jan 2022, so we applied for visitor visa to come in feb2022, yet no update.
Has anyone applied during Oct 2021, received the visa or any update from IRCC?

Did you try to search? There are a lot of posts in different threads re oct applications.
Some people received their PPR, some not

My parents got their passport submission letter on Jan 28 and got their visitor visa approved

Same boat. I applied for my parents on October 4, did their biometrics Oct 28. Until now, no update. I tried to call ircc few times and sent a number of webforms as well. I feel so impatient now.
