CEC Applicants - MAY 2021 - timeline & updates

My AOR May 22nd. Medical passed on June 17th. No updates since then. Background check says "we are processing your background check".
Don't know why it's taking soo long. My work permit is expiring too within 4 months.
I'm not sure what to do here

I called IRCC few times.

Initially Case went to Vancouver after that it moved to Montreal and portal email received from Etobicoke.
My 1st email received today around 1 PM.

I called ircc but they hanged up the call saying mine is not emergency

2nd call on October 1 early morning:
Eligibility: In progress
Criminality: in progress
Info Sharing: Completed

5th October got the portal confirmation mail
Now awaiting eCOPR

AOR was 12 May 2021. Medical passed 23 June. Any idea how much time more ?
