Hey everyone! We got our pre arrival letter on September 28. I am a Feb 2020 applicant. I want to be excited but ive been seeing on the forum some people wait months between pre arrival and PPR and some still havent heard back after pre arrival and SOME (rarely) get it within a few days of each other. So i really have no idea when the next update will come. Anyone have any information on this haha

Hey! So yes on August 3 we got asked for updated proof. Submitted our updated proof on August 15. Apparently according to our immigration consultant, they are asking for updated proof to couples whose applications surpassed the 1 year mark because many couples broke up during COVID so they want to make sure you are still together. I know others who also got asked for updated proof from the same application time as me.

but honestly other than that I have no idea why they are taking so long. I am a feb 2020 applicant which is literally almost 2 years ago.. its insane they are letting applications go for that long.

Many thanks for your reply. Would you please let us know also which month you received your sponsor approval letter and which month Ankara visa office received your application? The reason I ask is to know how long it takes to process your application in Ankara visa office. Thanks again.

I hope so too but not sure if itll be that quick. Because now my husbands medical is expired so idk if theyll make him do it again or if he got the pre arrival before it was expired if that means its fine? No ideA

Most probably they will extend his medical test based on other applicants experience.

Oh really? Have peoples been extended? I keep seeing people getting a second medical request. Honestly its so random

Medical extended for several applicants in this forum. You can find them in previous pages. Even if they ask for second medical it won't take long.

Oh this is great to hear. Ill go back and re-read the latest entries. I really hope they extend it. The wait has felt never ending. Praying theres not much longer. Thanks for the encouragement. What stage are you in? Whats your timeline?

April 2021 Ankara office received our
application and after that nothing!

Oh wow your file was received in Ankara so quickly! Mine was only sent 13 months after application was submitted. Hopefully you wont wait too long to get your medical and Pre arrival!!
