Hello folks, can anyone tell me what is the process for getting your citizenship certificate? I am scheduled for my oath ceremony on Oct 15th. Is there any additional steps required from my end after the ceremony or will they mail it on their own? Any help is much appreciated

Here is the final update from my end :
1. Citizenship Certificate Received Sep 27
2. Passport Application Submitted Sep 29
3. Passport Pick up Oct 4

How much time it takes after taking and passing the online test for it to show completed on the tracker.

I completed my online test on Sunday (Oct 3rd) and got it updated as "Completed" late evening on Monday (Oct 4th).

Me too finally tracker updated with citizenship test dates (same as yours) after 20 months of long wait. However, not received an email yet. Is this the normal practice that we get email later?

I got test invite but on the email there is no mention of outside canada can i still send them email and do the test outside?

Wow. After 20 months you get the test invite, while others who applied 10 months after you got their citizenship in 10 months!! I waited 18 months for the test, and I am still waiting to finish this whole frustrating and unfair process. Late 2019 and early 2020 were the least lucky applicants. Good luck in your test.

BK complete : Apr 19, 2021
UP applied on : Sep 09, 2021
Confirmation received on : Sep 15, 2021
Test invite : Sep 21, 2021 ( test window : Sep 27 to Oct 17 )
Test complete : Sep 27, 2021 ( PASSED 20/20)
TEST STATUS = COMPLETE Oct 06, 2021

Follow up call Passport office : 21-Sep-2021
Passport received by Canada post Xpresspost : 06-Oct-2021

Total Process time: 6 weeks and 5 days
