I didn't get that applied in UAE in May. Biometrics in July in India and after 18 days got PPR.

Can u please explain how could it happen and why Biometrics in India if Application submitted in UAE

i wish knew the answer, i am Not an expert.

When you login GCKEY, In status it says Application/Profile Updated, When you check there is nothing updated.

Do you know if it always updates after a few days ? I mean after ghost update do we get some kind of news?

Yes when i clicked on his profile, it changed to submitted. Although i see nothing changed or updated

Not every time you get an update after Ghost update. But sometimes Ghost update is followed by some real update, Such as PPR or Decision.

It is mainly becuase you need an appoitnment at a VFS office before you can visit there for biometric collection.

There are many cases that people could not get appointment at their local VFS office either because there were no free slots available or because it was closed due to covid19. In that people have travelled to other countries to visit a certain VFS office where biometric collection was possible.

They were so lucky that once they completed biometric, they recieved their SP decisions.

Not every time you get an update after Ghost update. But sometimes Ghost update is followed by some real update, Such as PPR or Decision.

Sometimes the update can be a result from a visible change. When you click your profile you notice something as review of medical results has started, medical changes to passed or review of eligibility has started, we are processing your background etc...

Sometimes the update can be due to invisible change i.e background, info-sharing criminality checks complete/passed. Lastly it can an indication that a decision is made by VO and BVL/PPR is ready to dispatch. In that case when you click your profile, you will notice nothing.

What I mean to say ircc does not start review applications until biometrics completed. In this case which is non SDS biometrics done on 15 july and decision of Ppr came after 19 days on 3rd August and importantly decision not from abu dhabi or Warsaw office it was Edmonton office. The applicant is a British citizen applied from Dubai but still its surprising that in Dubai different nationalities stay here and apply so british citizen if apply as study permit you can't say his profile will go to Edmonton because of his citizenship. Its light of hope for those who applied in UAE and pakistanis whom visa office is AUH

If someone applied in UAE and his application processed at Ednomoton then its only IRCC who can answer. Its not a common case.
