I am looking to apply for my parents visitor visa.

Please help me select the best alternative.
The new portal asks me to select one of the best options:

A. To unite with an immediate family member of Canadian PR or Canadian citizen
B. To visit family/friends.
I am Canadian PR.
My father has a property and a job back in India.
Looking for a 1-2 months visit only.

Hi Guys, did anyone applied for visitor visa using GC key(old portal) after 7th September and got PPR? I was not aware of the new changes and I applied yesterday for my mother visa visa. Today I came to know about this new update. Please help and advise.

I am not sure about that but I think it is more important to show finances and ties on the applicant's side.

Hi, I did apply using GCKey after Sep 7 and got PPR, so you don't have to worry. Infact majority of people who are getting PPR from Sep 7 until now (based on the data in this forum) are through GCKey

thankyou! hoping for your mom to get approved soon too i made a detailed quarantine plan i just stated that upon arrival she will take the mandatory test, and then i will pick her up at the airport and she will quarantine in our apartment for 14 days. she will be by herself, my husband kids n i will stay with my inlaws while she is quarantine. all foods and basic needs will be provided as well.
