Hmmm that is very unfortunate. I can tell you that there is no way a lawyer will be able to expedite the process. No need to waste your hard earned money on one for this purpose. Best to keep pushing your MP. Maybe order GCMS notes to get a clear picture of where your application is in the process currently. Hope this helps.

whats going on at LVO ? my wife Pre-arrival and Med request same day .. done med on 28 Aug and 2 sept was received by LVO .. Then dead silence.. goin to be 4 weeks.. all ready send 3 emails no reply for urgent ... one of my friends family done med 5 July and all 4 member got PPR 23 Aug and done by 26 Aug Visa in hand .. So im betting on 6 weeks .. I dont know how much Afghan situation is making this delay .. His was done before Afghan Refuges rush .

Looking at your time line My Friend also applied his family in oct 2020.. and got his 4 member of family visa done by end of Aug 2021. His case was Rejected previously cause he wasnt living in Canada. .. I dont Understand how they LVO work ! .. I have waited 4 years to get my kids Canadian citizen documented completed. then applied my wife in Jan 2021 ... My case is so Solid.. But still delay in PPR .. So frustrating Im in Pakistan for almost 3 month thought i can take my family along with me to Canada.. Emailed them to do urgent visa processing for my wife... I can take my 2 kids with me finally to Canada on Canadian Passport .. But with out mother is not possible ! And If I go back Canada alone again this time .. my 3 year and 2 years old wont take it easy as they can speak and miss me more..

Yeah I can understand it’s annoying and hard waiting for so long and a lot of us are waiting. My last update was pre-arrival and nothing after that. COVID-19 backlog and now the Afghanistan crisis has been delays even longer. But honestly, the more we dive into this the more harder this will be for us. We can just wait because there is nothing else we can do and sending numerous emails won’t help either. Why there will be update they will email us. I know it’s hard. Just hang in there.

I hired Laywer, Paid 3000$, Then He find out that Case analyst finalize his/her comments at May-2021 and since that my application not assigned to any officer for final review.
My Question to Laywer, Why people are getting PPR whos applies after me,
His reply, PPR can send by case Analyst by just informing summary of case to Officer but if application is complex then officer will evaluate it deeply and gave PPR. So technically my case is become complex i don't why maybe due to my weight, but application is setting in Q and waiting for any Officer for review.
