I read somewhere that you can find a country, in which direct flight from India is allowed and from which direct flight to Canada is allowed. Once you land in that country, you will need to obtain Covid negative report before 72 hours from your scheduled flight to Canada. For this you may need to stay in that country for 3-5 days. If your report is Covid positive, then you cannot travel to any other country. You will have to take medication and stay quarantine in that country for atleast 14 days and until your next report is Covid negative. You need to satisfy all the travel requirements before your jouney. Then you can board into the flight to Canada if approved.
People have suggested not to do this until and unless its very urgent as this is complex and expensive process and also, its not guaranteed that you will be allowed to aboard if not an emergency
Please check on different blogs to find more info
A friend of mine went via this route last month, had a good 5 day vacation. Its expensive for sure & might not be for everyone
Hope something comes up this or next week. Keep posted once you get ppr.
