New PR confirmation portal

Hello Guys,

Please Call CIC and confirm if your card is sent for printing. After it is sent for printing, wait for 6 weeks, if you don’t receive your card and and call CIC again and again unless you get in touch with a helpful agent to send a message to the concerned office. This is because there are sometimes printing errors. I hope this helps.

1st portal email: Sept 18 (replied same day)

Portal Credentials: Sept 22 (uploaded address& photo same day)

COPR: Sept 23

VO: Etobicoke

Now waiting for photo to be approved and PR card to be mailed

Is the COPR sent seperately in an email or the pr portal?

Hello everyone!

I have a question. So my mum is the principal applicant for our PR. And she received the approval letter and details for the portal but none of us [her dependents] were on the portal. So only her name was on the portal and none of us had our name there.


We don’t know what to do. Any help would be appreciated. @legalfalcon.

All the dependants are in Canada? if yes, when she replied to portal email, did she mentioned all the dependants?

Yes, we are all in Canada.
And yes she included all our information in the portal email but it was ignored for some reason. I don’t understand why.

Please, you’re trying to help. There are no stupid questions.
She included us in the application and we even received letters saying we all passed the eligibility requirement.

@ohmyhermiticlife in that case I would suggest you to email them back at portal email and ask them to include you all.

As I live in small town, I have two address on file one home and one mailing with PO box. So what address should I put on portal mailing or home?

@JattCan It's a tricky one but the address you put in the portal is where you get your PR card. May be mention PO box one and also mention in the email your home address?

How can we know if it is dispatched?

It says in the profile" your card has been mailed to your address!"when they approve it

I put both and it got send to my po box.. as I live as well in a very small town!
