Hello everyone,

I have a question. My mum applied for PR under the protected persons class & applied for me and siblings. My status in Canada is a Post Graduate Work Permit but I travelled out of the country.

I just received an email that the family PR application has been approved & invitation to the portal.

I’m outside the country so I can’t land using the portal. Does anyone know what the process for me is going to be like? I’d appreciate any information I can get, thank you.

The current processing time is about one year, and the case will start in eight months. I really hope to speed it up! However, refugee applicants will not be taken seriously!

I am April 2020 applicant and still waiting. Eveyone I know who applied later than me got their PR cards. What is going on?
