If someone was expecting otherwise, they were also expecting FSW draws to happen in September which didn't happen. Our only hope is for Marco Polo to ascend to a bigger office.

Yup. But Trumplicans have strong effect on Canadian conservatives. In the recent California recall election, democract were projected to win but the way they beat Trumplican is just insane.

While we are at it, why do people here think MM controls all of Canada's immigration policy? All summer the IRCC continues to maintain that it's policies throughout the pandemic are implemented in collaboration with HC and other major shareholders. I doubt any overarching changes to IRCC's policy implementations over the next few years depend on any individual person as much as it does on the Canada's rulling party and the type of government.
