Highly Unlikely, the federal-level processing time is still controlled by Quebec. The Conservative didn't promise to slash immigration either.

Federal-level

One thing I hope for - I want IRCC to extend the temporary policy for medical checkups which is now in force. I think almost all islands had medical checkups (maybe I am wrong, but I had it for my first work permit), so it really can speed up the process a bit.

That's right! I did my medical exam in the Nov 2015, which not way more than 5 yrs. I hope they won't ask us to redo it.

I think they can extend it for another 6 months I.e until mid 2022
I received the medical request only for Spouse and not for me. Is this normal or can expect for me in few days?

Have you passed any medical exam for a work/study permit the last 5 years?
Does anyone know how long it takes to get a reply from IRCC after we get PR confirmation portal email? like after we send them UCI and other details?

Hi Bro, I understand that ur the main applicant and inland, right? If yes then IRCC might have taken into account any previous medical results for yourself. If ur outland, then send IRCC a webform and explain the whole thing and am sure they would reply back.
Gd Luck

No, most people don't pass any medical exam for their temporary permit
It's my case
And i'm still waiting for my medical request...
