I ended up on the wrong March thread, but while I'm here.
March 2020 CEC and still waiting....
If you get PR between 6-8 months you're at the pre-pandemic average for CEC and count yourself lucky. Chill out and just remember, some of us are at 18 months, not 6.
IRCC status says they are finishing mid February. Nowadays, Most CEC doesn’t go beyond 7 months. Have you ordered GCM notes? Do they mentioned anything on the note? Or have you done military service in that case security check is long?
CEC Outland - Brazil
AOR March 01, 2021
Medical Passed March 10, 2021
BIO April 28, 2021
PPR September 16,2021
I'm the principal applicant with my spouse, both in Brazil.
Nothing change on my account at IRRC, still showing checking. But today I received the email asking for my passport.
I have no idea about my VO - I requested twice for my GCMS notes but never received it.

What that page says is not accurate. "Finalising" is not the same as issuing COPR. Simply look at any 2020 AOR or CEC thread.
There's a large number of people in the exact same situation as me. Inland and outland applicants. I'm actually shocked 2021 applicants aren't aware of this. Maybe coz y'all are seeing some people getting it in 2 months. lol 6-8 months was the average before the pandemic. Some are lucky enough to get it sooner than that, but that seems to be down to low CRS draws and medical exemptions.

Outlander is totally different case than CEC. You ignored my question. I was asking if your case has any complexity from GCMS note. Don't worry you will get it soon, Good luck.

I said inland and outland. In fact, most of those 2020 applications are inland, because most of them are from CEC draws. You're acting like I'm making this up. lol Go check any 2020 AOR or CEC thread for yourself.
And I didn't ignore your question. The condescension is a little annoying but I'll overlook it. I know the details of my application. My application has been finalised for months. None of that is relevant to my point though, which is lots of inland and outland 2020 applicants are still waiting for COPR. If 2021 applicants get it within 6-8 months then they're doing very well.
I did not submit my Indian PCC before but I sent them voluntarily last week just in case they want to have a look through web form. I also hope they open my file because I have zero ghost updates
I know that the wait is always very painful but you need to understand they just don’t just verify your work history. During security and criminality they share information with allied nations like Autstalia, UK, USA to check if you have any criminal records which sometimes take time. Hopefully you will hear something soon.
What else can we do? I don’t want ppl to stress out for just a PR, my dad almost got a stroke and almost lost his life because he was too stressed out from things he couldn’t control. He had his entire left paralyzed. I don’t want you to experience the same. That’s why you should move on. You’ve came so far, what’s one or 2 more months?
